Off the table out for inspection
For Sale for 2400.00 Shipping Included

Anschutz 54.18 bought new in 2006 from Champions Choice. Precision Target Sports, Inc. ( Mr. Marvin P.) Treaded the Receiver and Installed a new Shilen Select Match Barrel and provided a Trigger Guard. The Action was installed by Steve Woster into one of his stocks from Roberson Composits in early 2008. Trigger shoe is from Mark Pharr and the Buttpad is removeable. Main color is black with a dark green accents in the front third of the stock. Scope is not included in the purchace. This gun likes to travel and has been to USA Nationals, Southern Nationals, Canadian Nationals, Sunshine Classic, Mid South Classic, Connor Cup and the Iron Man. Don't tell my wife but I have 28
00.00 in this gun. Would cost more to build today.

I wish someone would buy this rifle so I don't spend the kids christmas money :)

This just might be the finest rifle I have ever seen. Congrats to the owner, and the future owner. Dang!

If you shot the thing, you'd definitely spend the kids' Christmas money. If I had the money, I'd have already bought it from Byron. The trigger is wonderful and the few shots that I shot hit the target every time. I think Byron's crazy for selling it. :)

Byron,

Is that the rifle that Mini Kitty picked up and ran a bunch of Rams with at the Nationals when we were all down by the Lapua ammo testing area? That's a sweet rifle if so...If you're culling this one from the herd I'd like to see the other 27..

Kitty, I'm just wondering what Hammy did to him, because since the Nationals it seems like Byron is selling all his rifles. Could it be a jilted lover issue??? They should have never bunked together, I know that 'Spooning thing' Hammy was braggin about would cause hard feelings =))

That is a possibility that I didn't think of.... Might also be why Hammy has been so quiet lately :-s or could it be Byron has a =(( over Hammy and decided to sell all his equipment :(

Easy now boys and girls !.

Got two calls wanting to know if I was quiting, sick, or insane for selling my guns.

I'm going to go back to two rifles and cann't justify 3 grand into a hunter gun alone plus I already have a 1712.

Hammey and I are just closet friends, opps! I mean close friends.

P.S. I told one of the guys who called that I thought that there might only be 25 of these guns around. Mary or Kitty what do you think?

Byron.

P.S.S. Ten Inches of snow and more falling!

I used this one when my old faithful gave up at CBC...great rifle. Now as for cutting back Byron, what is wrong with you? You can never have too many of this type of rifle!!! I think you should give to your bud Hammy for Christmas, then I could use it when I get to northern Cuba.

May be fewer than that (54:18's built into "Frankenhunters") Lot's were built into Standard rifles, but the 1710 and 1712 were the preferred action for the dual purpose /one rifle both classes build. 54:18 is heavier and more expensive. I've have "Frankenhunters" built on both the 54:18 and the 17-- series hunter action and I prefer the 54:18 build over any of the others. Why? Just feels better, which is subjective and YMMV....If this is the gun I shot at Nationals it is a well built accurate piece...Not really "blingy" ...that's all thats wrong with it.
