hey squriil hunter, there are several sub2000 rifles on right now Gohst of war ahs a fine annie 54 and Highspeed(i believe ) a nice 52b winchester both are great choices for both classes of small bore.

as far as offering less, that is the american way, it is up to the seller to decline.if a seller is willling to take less than every one would be saying you got a great deal. 400 less than asking should really not be considered by some on not desperate to sell so that should not have been a suprise. 200 less is less so, but these guns are in demand.

no one here HAS to sell to anyone they dont wish to, best to remain friendly.

great guns do NOT come at significant discounts. keep lookin' yours is out there.

Merry Christmas to me..... Did the deal with Byron, I'm very pleased. The rifle was all he said and more. Enjoyed our conversations and hope to meet some day. As for a "heads=up"...............I will be offering my 1712 for sale after the Holidays. (DO NOT want to ship now) My 1712 is much like this one but the Pharr stock does not fit me as well as the Wooster. I'm old, skinny, (but tough) :-bd ....the Pharr is better suited to a bigger (average & larger build). It has the Lilja, tight bore, factory fluted 24" bbl, 2 stage trigger, shoots very well, Evelio built. (same color combo as in Byron's pictures). Happy Holidays to all. Jim Rose

Jim,
I've sent you a pm as well. Not trying to get into a bidding war with anyone - just showing my interest and requesting info regarding price.

Thanks in advance for the input.
Greg
