In response to your question about matches in central Pa. be advised that the Pa state Air rifle championship match is in Harrisburg at Harrisbiurg Hunters and anglers on Sept. 10. The match director is Randall Samick. Unfortunately he only is running three matches this year, two of which have passed. he gets such poor attendance that he cut back on the number of matches. They used to run silhouette air matches at Blue Rock Sportsman but unfortunately the gentleman who ran them passed away. We are running matches at Falls Twsp. Rifle and Pistol Assoc. in Falls Twsp, PA but we are north of Philadelphia and far from central PA. They also have a good air rifle program at Delaware County Field and Stream in Brookhaven, PA although none of their matches are sanctioned by anyone and they too are not in central PA but south of Philadelphia.
Several of us from eastern PA support Randy and intend to be there on Sept. 10. It's a hike but if you shoot air rifles you usually have to travel OR run matches yourself.
