John, you know these long distance relationships just don't work out. :D

Huey, get Hammy to buy you a one way fare to Denver. Plan on staying at my place for the winter, you can go back to Florida in the spring. We 7-08 guys here in the west will get you dialed in on loading for the great seven.

Holy crap...how much does this guy eat in a week?? What kind of beer do you like ? Hope you like Coors light, the Silver Bullet. I get it for FREE. :ymparty:

That is the exact kit that I started with. It doesn't take care of things like trimming, tumbling, etc. but I still use the press, priming tool, and occasionally the chamfer/deburr tool. The best thing to do is to learn from an experienced reloader, especially if they reload for same type of cartridge/match that you want to load for. I can't overstate how helpful it is to see the process start to finish, and hopefully actually help with the process, before buying a bunch of stuff and trying to make it work. Once you understand the process, it's a lot easier to pick individual items that will help you do what you want to do with reloading more easily without wasting money on stuff that won't really help you. From the time you prep new brass for its first loading all the way out to knowing when to toss brass that shouldn't be loaded again, it's a lot easier to learn by seeing it done and being able to ask an experienced reloader questions than it is to read a manual or a computer screen.

Ok. Thanks guys. Just talked with jjp and will pick Malinos brain soon too. =)) I definently realize now that you don't really need everything they give ya in the kit. Better off saving on some other things and spending a little more on others.

McAlice, don't worry about the food, just think of it as your personal trainer and take pleasure in the amount of weight you will loose after you look into an empty fridge. As for the booze, he is still under 21, don't know what the drinking age in CO is but in FL it is 21...so he doesn't know any better than to take FREE beer. And on the other side if he doesn't clean out the fridge I'll send Coares up for a few weeks and that should take care of anything left.
Now if you don't understand how he became yours look at who has been the 7 08 guru....

BH, Tubb made a video for Sierra that covers alot about advanced reloading that explains quite a bit, I have it in VHS format, and I have a set of 7-08 RCBS dies if you want them, because I have no use for them. PM me if you are interested.

Take Beckley up on those dies BH. They'll be better than the dies I was going to toss in with the gun.
