Re: 2012 Conard Cup - Sound Off!
This is our Foreign Exchange Student, Lucas. He really enjoys the sport and has been trying very hard. We got him some exceptional coaching from Team Pretty Kitty and Innocent Mary along with the very Generous Mr. Peterson. We cured a few of his ills and he earned himself a 1st in B class. Now to get his great trophy home in his luggage this summer!

Here's the other half of Team Steelchickens doing what they do best... Heck, Harrison doesn't even need a rifle, he just give them that cool look and they fall right over... And Jack you will notice Jack is still without vest, but it wasn't for a lack of effort. More than once, he came within 2 points of getting into my wallet for a new vest. What he did earn, however, was nothing short of impressive for an A shooter. He landed a 5-in-a-row in each animal in Standard and 2 in Hunter for a total of six for the weekend. You will notice his WELL worn Steelchickens hat is now literally being held together with his newly earned pins! LOL

I told them each that a 5-in-a-row earned you no chores for a week and a 10-in-a-row was no chores for a month. The part I didn't tell them until after the match was that the week they could use their no-chores will be the week they are at summer camp.
Suckers...
And watching Mallory put the hurt on Eric for Match 1's shoot off was nothing short of spellbinding. She would not rattle. More pics to follow when I get the other camera hooked up.

I'm sad to be leaving the 55 degree weather of the PacWest and heading back to the 91 degree deep south!
This year was no different than last for me... challenging and fun. Probably the most enjoyable experience for me was spotting for David Bonner. That man is a machine and a great coach! Thanks Dave!

Jerry,
Silent your were, we were all a little surprised at your silence. Now quit weaseling in on my ammo purchase deal with Crackers.
Great to see the wandering shooter!

Steve has some pictures. Thanks again to everyone that had a hand in building it. The wind is blowing today so I can't even go out and see how well it shoots.
