Minutes from Chickens to Rams
I just recently purchased a new HW97 and was wondering what how many minutes of angles between chickens to rams? Assuming a 8 gr .177 pellet. Just interested in knowing. Do you stay within one rotation of the turret?
Cheers Mike

Caseyboy, I use a Steyr 110 and I shoot chickens to turkeys on the same setting and go up 1 min to shoot rams.

One minute between chickens and rams? How fast is that Steyr putting them out?

I shoot a HW77K. Same rifle as the 97 but slightly longer barrel. I am usually 3 MOA above my Chicken setting. with a 8.4 grain .177 pellet. With a Leupold EFR 1/4 Minute clicks if the chicken is 0 the Ram will be 3 on the elevation dial. My 77 is unaltered from the factory. Have not chronoed it.
