PINKO

Post by Evelio Mc Donald »

Well thanks to BLAUBEAR we have the correct definition for a PINKO, and I am sorry Pat Steiger must have got the definition incorrect, since I don't think it fits Coates, he is getting kind of old also, I hope he don't get to fly his plane to any PINKO countries.
By the way I had enought of " commies" in my life, I will never build a gun for any one that I would suspect of being a PINKO.

Evelio, "Pinko" was so over used as an accusation that it became meaningless, even a joke. It isn't used seriously anymore.

Kevin,
He got to shoot it in two matches this weekend, both times a little short on sighting in but he still managed to shoot his average of 28 and 27 without a spotter.

RECOIL PAD

Post by Evelio Mc Donald »

Ken, the material is actually rubber shoe sole, I buy it on 3ft. x 3ft. sheets on diferent thickness, and cut and grind to match the profile of the stock.

It looks to be light in weight. Would you consider selling me a piece of 1" or 3/4" thickness for the Pharr stock I'm doing?

BUTT PAD

Post by Evelio Mc Donald »

Be more than glad to send a piece of the material, tell me what thickness you want, and your address. The material is about the lightest you can get, it is the same as Mark puts on the guns he builds.

If it's the same as Mark puts on his rifles, I can attest that it's very lightweight and so far has been very durable, too. My cowboy rifles need a bit more in the length of pull category and since buttpads are legal for them, I'm thinking of putting it on all three.
