I here ya on the fishing lures! I have my 4 go to lures and after that if the fish don't bit it's not ment! But the usually bit! Also@hambone: I shot two bricks in just the week before Jacksonville!

Some lures are made to catch fish... other lures are made to catch fishermen!

Tell ya all a funny story:

When I wrote my first book, I did a whole chapter on Tubb's little kit. Tried it on a match barrel and a standard Savage barrel. I measured accuracy before and after, and took borescope photos along the way. I spent all kinds of time testing and studing this product, and I came to the following conclusion:

1. It will wear out the first 3" to 5" of your barrel, or do the same as about 15,000 rounds of ammo (roughly - shooting just ammunition creates a smoother surface, but uneven.)
2. It will ruin accuracy in a good barrel, it may help out a terribly finished bore - only in terms of less fouling and a lower SD.
3. It's better to save your money, buy more ammo, and just focus on shooting skills.

I turned this chapter in with the rest of my stuff, and when the book was printed ( keep in mind I never saw a draft copy of my book for editing), the chapter was dropped.

Guess who my (former) publisher (Zediker) has written and published many books for: Tubb.

Without question, that product IS A COMPLETE, TOTAL, 100% WASTE OF MONEY.

Huey, you should also consider a good airgun if you like to put that many rounds downrange. The first year I had my TX200 airgun, I shot a full case of 25,000 pellets through it. Cost of the ammo on that at the time was about $250 plus a tune and two springs LOL. The value of the trigger time was priceless. That was the first gun I made master class with and I still shoot it as good or better than my other airguns. Get hold of Dee and see if he still has that S400 for sale. Round for round, you can't beat the cost of shooting a good airgun.

I was actually thinking about that tx200. Not sure if I want to get into pcp just yet.
