452 Rules question

Post by propwash »

I have a CZ 452 Varmit that comes in around 8 lbs. with scope. I want to shoot hunter class with this but I'm worried about catching crap for the varmit barrel.....It is tapered, enough to see without even measuring. Should I have anything to worry about.

There is nothing to worry about as far as I know. I saw several in use at matches during this year. All you need to worry about is if it is under 8-1/2 lbs and has a minimum 2lb trigger.

Even before the rules were changed, this rifle had a "letter" that is was legal in Hunter class.

Once again, looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's must be a duck...LOL

8.5 pounds, 2 pound trigger, tapered barrel from action to muzzle, etc.
