Breech seals, RWS Model 75

Post by OnaginOffagin »

I practice a lot on an old RWS Model 75 springer.... The thing has had literally 100,000s of pellets through it, and it's still amazingly accurate, but it does go through its breech seals. Does anyone know where I can get replacement breech seals for it?

On and Off, just an invite to shoot the air Rifle at TRRC. We have a Air MS every 4th Sat- I guess it is really the Sat of the forth weekend- it's probably the closest range to you and get your fix! The flyer is listed here on this forum-hope to see you there. With a smaller crowd things go pretty quick, there are a coupl 54's in your class- so some friendly competition! They might be able to help you with seals too- I think both Terry and John have opened there rifles and both shoot good- so maybe?

Umarex may be a little expensive on the breech seals. When you say you go through them, how long is that? The reason I ask is thatthey should be good for 15K shots or ~ 5 years. You may have another problem causing the breech seal to break down.

You may want to ring Pyramid Air and check their prices (they often have parts at cheaper prices: http://www.pyramydair.com

I normally buy from Germany at Waffen-Schneider. The prices are great (they take Visa), however, if you buy items that add more weight, shipping gets expensive ($30-$40). You could be
Waffen-Schneider: http://www.sportwaffen-schneider.de/
Your seals: http://www.sportwaffen-schneider.de/pro ... ts_id/1191

If I were you, I'd buy 10+ at a time, better value (esp. in shipping).

Any more questions, PM me.
