Thanks, all. I started out on turkeys and dropped 6 of them due to having too much other stuff running through my head. After that, I tried to force everything but the spot I wanted to hit out of my mind. I dropped one ram and one chicken thereafter, with at least three hits that broke close to the edge but luck went my way.

First match that I ever shot was right at two and a half years ago. I decided to get into a little more after I had so much fun at the 2005 Conard Cup in Pe Ell, so I've been working on skills for a little over a year and a half. Don't take it by the score posted here that I normally shoot like that. I've had a handfull of mid-40s out of 60, but the highest score in my book is a 44/60, I think.

Impressive comeback after losing 6 turkeys....So easy to tank after getting off to less than the start that you wanted.....

I'd love to brag and say that it was a great comeback, but I think the six misses are what relieved the pressure so I could get so many after that. I'm starting to get the physical aspect of the sport but I'm a long way from getting the mental aspect. I'm starting "With Winning in Mind" again, soon.

Jason you never want dwell on misses. Think more about what it took to make 52 good shots only. Very good shooting and congrats!

Jason,
Reread with Bassham, good run and I concur with Chad, don't dwell on the misses, great score.

Congrats,

Jason,

That would mean you cleared the pigs, great job.

All you have to do now is repeat you pig performance on the rest of the animals.

Or game is so simple, focus on the target, see the shot hit target, see target fall, repeat.

Easy ain't it? Glad I could clear that up for ya.

Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.

GREAT JOB JASON

Way to go Jason, that's an awesome score. Congratulations, it was a tuff shoot, only about 36 degreess or so. I want to say thanks to all the people that shoot at Tacoma Sportsmans, I shot my best score on saturday and it's from the help and advice that you give that keeps new people coming back. Thanks. Matt
