Match Director Guidance

Post by 375Short »

I have four Lever Action matches NRA APPROVED for 2026. I asked the NRA at several different email addresses including the one that is associated with approving the matches the following:

Who specifically is the contact person for reporting match results and that person’s contact information?
In What format or on what forms would you like the match result information?
Is there a fee required for Classification through Approved matches or to receive a Classification Card?
What information should a Match Director provide to a competitor detailing what is required of the competitor to receive a Classification Card?

I have received no response from the NRA. Seems like important / general information that could be easily condensed somewhere for general consumption, Information if provided in some clear concise format would save them and their customers a good deal of energy.

If anyone has a current point of contact and successfully provides match information to the NRA that gets entered and competitors receive cards, Please share. I’m absolutely positive I’m not the only one needing the guidance.

Thanks for posting your concern, Wayne.

I, too, have sent a couple of emails in recent times and have not yet receives a response to my questions - not even an acknowledgment of receipt.
Their "competitions department" seems not to care about anybody.

The NRA is going through major changes this year, as far as I know, no one has been able to contact them.

Including me. I keep getting Classification cards for Silhouette categories that I have never shot. I could just throw them away, but someone out there is wondering where my smallbore AAA card is. :-??

Hopefully a ray of service is starting to shine at the NRA. I sent an email to the Competitors help address. I was asking for some data correction on my portal. I got a prompt response and the problem addressed very timely. Having successfully received some service I asked about reporting forms for match results and 10 in a Row forms. I promptly received files of the forms as well as an email and mailing address to send them in. Email is: [email protected] and mailing address is: 11250 Waples Mill Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030.

I received this service from Program Coordinator Aika Nurpeissova, email [email protected]

Maybe better service is in our future. 🤞🏼
