Cabin Fever Relief
I wanted to get out to CRC this past week, but a few days of snowy, crappy weather prevented that. Finally got a break yesterday and went out for some practice. Got there at 9 am, was 17F, but warmed up to 28 by noon. It was mostly calm to a 3 to 5 mph breeze out of the SW. A little left windage took care of that. Shot 75 rounds of .308 and .30-06 at the swingers and gongs. That pig swinger really "sqealed" when it got hit with a full house 180gr. '06 elk load. Well, after 4 hours of highpower practice I felt a lot better. A full blown case of cabin fever was averted. http://s190.photobucket.com/albums/z94/ ... Hello Bob
My 50ft adaptor is 1.960" to the outside and 1.735" on the threads.
I don't know what thread pitch. This adaptor fits some of my 36s and
not others so I tape it in place as a quick fix.
I think I know where you might be heading with this so I'll check the adaptors you sent to see if they adapt the 50' converter to any of my scopes. Just a hunch! I don't have the Alumina accessories.

Nope, no buffalos seen last weekend. It was not a jug of Varget after all. It was my second favorite propellent, Reloder 15. Thats OK, when my kid asked me what I wanted for Christmas I told her a jug of Varget, RL-15, or a $1000.00 gift card to Sportsmans Warehouse. They must have been out of Varget, did'nt get the card.
We shoot our first HP match of 2008 this Sunday, supposed to be warm in the high 40's. With that advancing weather that is now hitting California, it will probably be a bit windy out at CRC. I'm sure we will be resetting mud covered targets ,too. ,......... JB, what is the date for the AZ state HP match?

Yeah, me and Jerry will be there along with the usual CO suspects. Can't wait to show off my new green paint on the heavy gun. We were supposed to shoot HP this past Sunday, but only three showed up to shoot. Too bad, the snow was mostly gone, little mud, light wind, not too cold. We spent two hours just practicing on the swingers and gongs.
