Congrats to all of the Junior Shooters

Post by metalhead »

Kolby Rassmussen, Elizabeth Steiger, Coates Watkins, Stephen Guinta, and Joel Huddelston, congratulations on your outstanding perpormance at Winnsborro this last weekend. Way to go ! You guys are the future of our sport.

But there is one name that also needs to be added to this list. He did not get to go to the So. Nationals this year . So instead, he and his dad went north to Missoula, MT and this young man from Wyoming pretty much showed everyone up there how to shoot a rifle.

Congratulations Tyler Kamp. You remind of a very dear friend of mine...Jared Perry....Look out guys, this young man is a force to be reconded with...Once again...Congrats Tyler Kamp !

Juniors

Post by Evelio Mc Donald »

Well, big congratulations to all the Junior winners, and possibly future National winners, hoping that all of you stick around, we need new young shooters to continue this sport. After looking at all the shooters at Winnsboro, I just came to realize, that most of the shooters were pretty much middle age, and a lot of them way past that, including myself.
You all have to excuse me for a few minutes, but I have to do a little bragging for my own satisfaction.
Kolby, Coates, Elisabeth, and Stephen were shooting guns that I build for them, with most of the cost donated by Paul Freeman, Kitty, and myself, except for Elisabeth rifle which his great dad Pat Steiger bought for her.
Great shooting guys, keep it up.
Evelio.

I would like to thank everybody that helped me along the way.
I know that if it weren't for all of you I wouldn't still be shooting. There is no one person that I can thank alone because all of you have helped me. It may have been a small tip or just simply making me laugh when I shot a bad bank. All of you are great people and I look forward to the next match where I will hopefully see all of you.

Thanks,
Kolby
