FS - Leupold VXIII 6.5-20 EFR, 3/8 Target Dot
I've got a Leupold VXIII 6.5-20x40 EFR, 3/8 Target Dot with the larger knobs on it and the original box. One standard knob is included if you prefer. No ring marks - $600 plus shipping, or will trade for Leupold FXIII 25x40. New price on this scope is $719

It's definitely the smaller target dot, George. I was thinking they came in 3/8 and .6, but according to the Leupold sight they only come in the small dot.
Edit:
It has a label with the buyers name, date of build (30-DEC-04) and "SILH SPECIAL", but dot size is not specified.

"Silhouette Special" and build date on a WHITE label on the end of the box, are 100% indicative of a scope that was sent to Premier Reticles. Does it have a white label affexed to the end of the box? If so, it's a .0067" dot witch is 3/8MOA at 20X (Leupold is currently installing the .0060" dot, same difference)BlauBear wrote:It's definitely the smaller target dot, George. The 'target dot' is 1/3 that size at .0020" and substends 1/8 moa on 20X. You should be able to tell the difference, if it's a 1/8 MOA dot, it's nearly invisable...LOL.

Once again, I am humbled by superior knowledge. Yes, it is a large white label on the end of the box opposite the Leupold model information. The dot is visible, so based on your information it is the .67 Premier dot. I had no idea it was Premier's work, but it is wonderfully clear and bright so I should have suspected.
I'm trying to use the same scope across the board and all my others are the Leupold 25x40 with the Leupold Target Dot, otherwise I'd keep this one, too. If it doesn't sell, I'll put it on the air gun and adjust.
