Anschutz Model 54 Super Match Firing Pin Spring

Help...I believe I need a new Firing Pin Spring for my Model 54 Super Match rifle manufactured in 1962.
Since I recently purchased the rifle, I was eager to take it out for a round of target shooting. My first time out I was getting misfires approximately 50% of the time. Tried various brands of ammunition and was greeted with the same result. After a frustrating time of re-cocking the bolt, I was able to get shots off. Accurate as hell but not fun to shoot with these misfires. At home, I took the bolt apart and cleaned and polished the firing pin body, oiled everything and waited for the next opportunity to go to the range. At my second venture to the range, I improved the condition to where it was firing at about a 75% success rate for each 22lr round chambered. Still not happy, I took the bolt apart at the range and stretched the spring as much as I dare. Success rate now about 90%.
Note: I have checked out the firing pin head and everything looks fine. Also checked the barrel area, where the 22lr rim makes contact to see if there was any damage that would reduce the impact strike force upon the bullet when the firing pin strikes the case. Everything looks good. At this point, I believe I require a stronger or new firing pin spring to resolve the problem.
Called Wolff Springs... they indicated they did not have a firing pin spring for my bolt’s vintage. Now what? I have sent an email to Anschutz, in Germany and am awaiting their response. Does anyone know where I my find the part I seek?

Try a spring for Anschutz 1710, they are the same size as the old 1400 series.

You want the one for 1400 series, they have two of them so measure your firing pin and order the one you need.

Update on where to purchase the type of firing pin spring for an older Model 54 Super Match action.
Anschutz technical support did respond to my earlier email and suggested I contact Carl at: http://www.ChampionShooters.com telephone # 800-821-4867. They have the required spring at, $9.00 each. I purchased two springs and the problem of misfires was solved when I replaced the old spring with the new one. What a difference in increased strike force to the rim of the 22lr. There were no misfires and I'm a Happy Camper.
