It doesn't happen often here and rarely gets this deep (two times in 13 years), but even this is enough to make me want to move to somewhere it doesn't happen at all. Nothing like hours of shoveling (~12" or so) only to have it dump more snow.
How do you see the rams/turkeys/pigs and chickens at the range with all that stuff on the ground?

Hey Jason,
I guess this means you wouldn't want to go snowmobiling like we did yesterday.
Lots of fun-----but it does involve snow.

Well Jason 12 inches of snow sounds like a nice little amount for an overnight dusting
So far this season from the 1st of November we have got 37 feet of snow. It is currently snowing at a rate of 3 in an hour and has been since 3am
I did get to experience a snowicane, that happens when there are 60-100 mph winds with snow and rain.
I am so looking forward to CBC this year, you will see me out front first if the sun comes out

I'll be right out there with you, Chad. I don't think I'd mind snow so much if this area was equipped to handle it. Heading up to the passes to camp or ski/snowboard in that area is great.

Don't forget the cold Chad, it's been the coldest I can recall and I've lived here over 25 years. Dan

Move over here to the great land of Australia. Plenty of areas that will NEVER snow. Woke up this morning to a nice 20degC morning.

hey ex pom, don't you know you are supposed to kick those rams out of the bed before you get into it. Keep some of that wool outta the bunk and it won't be so warm.
