There is a match listed in Shooting Sports USA at Rupert, WV. Thats 312 miles for me. That same publication used to list a match in Paducah, KY, but not this year. Since the Green River Gun Club near Bowling Green stopped having matches about 4 years ago, I haven't shot in my home state of Kentucky. I haven't heard of anything in Ohio.

I received my copy of the Kentucky Rifle and Pistol Association newletter. According to the "Match Schedules" section smallbore silhouette matches are planned at the Louisville Rifle & Revolver Club on August 19 and October 7. No start times are listed. I did call the person listed as match director and he confirmed that the club was trying these this year. Hopefully there will be enough interest (and large enough turnout) that this will become a regular event.

Hi everyone, i live in independence ky. Its close to cincinnati. I would love to find a place to shoot rifle silhouettes. My local club here shoots pistol silhouettes and about twice a month if anyone is interested. Nice club, not no one is really into rifle shooting there. If people showed up interested maybe we could make it happen. I would like to go to louisvile to shoot. Its only 80 miles or so from me. Were is everyone else here living? I'm near Somerset, KY. Traveling up I-75 makes a trip to N. KY relatively easy. Have you approached your club about hosting an informal match? I'd be interested. A central location would be nice, but not essential as far as I'm concerned. Heck, I'm going to Chattanooga tomorrow, 188 miles one way.
