That's a beautiful set up Boats. Looks similar to the original SB range at Consolidated Sportsmen of Lycoming county in Mountoursville, PA. I'm sure CSLCAL or Heavybarrel can concur on this. Al, would you happen to have a picture of the old range? Mark

Land is absolutly level. Shooting house has a concrete slab thats about 10 or 12 inches high. Post in the ground for each bank of animals. Rails sit in a V notch on the post.
Doubles at 50 & 60 for CLA and Smallbore double again at 75 & 77 for CLA and smallbore. Those two rails move up or back a post depending on how the range is set up. Set critters on the rails then used a railroad jack to pull the post up to level and proper sight lines. Rams are a bit above waist high others you shoot very slightly lower than level. Throw all the rails on top of the berms when the grass is cut. Berms covered in black mulch every few months.
Even though we are 45 animals wide each bank we only shoot 10 on the line in a relay. Left and right 4 shooters 4 banks Center bank two shooters. House is 56 feet wide put 12 on the line we can't keep the offical shooter seperation of 6 feet.
Swingers at C P T are portable usualy in the center of the line. Anybody wants to post paper they do it left or right. Ram line has two fixed swinger frames.
All the swingers are kept locked up in steel boxes down range. Falling targets in a shed behind the line, all stowed in Ammo boxes marked for the proper critter.
Also keep a supply of Rustoleam 2x flat primer in the shed, It covers much better than the cheap spray paints. Cost less long run

I assume that he means in white. We use that same thing in white sometimes at our range. It's not just cheaper in the long run. It also does the job faster so it makes target setting and painting a little faster. I haven't seen much difference in price/coverage of the Rustoleum 2X flat white paint versus flat white primer, so I grab whichever is in stock. The gloss doesn't seem to cover quite as well or dry quite as fast, just as with any other brand of paint. I got a can of that in the box by accident once.

We paint Black sometimes. Shooters don't always like it but if they travel around need to be able to shoot any color. I prefer White for CLA cause you can't use Arpetures White lets you pick your spot with a post and bead. Scope, color is less important.
This range prevaling wind comes in at 5 o/c very little effect on your bullet. Light is nice too, we get some high scores.
If I can this week will take some of inside the house. Shooter positon markers etc.
