10X III Standard Rifle

Post by stsbuyer »

I am having a barrel threaded for a bloop tube like Briley used on the BMG silhouette standard rifle. The tube already has the threads (3/4"-16) in it. I would like to know how long the threaded portion of the barrel is if anyone has one they could messure for me.

Thanks,

Paul Freeman

Bob,

Yea Evelio is pretty quick. He showed me the barreled action Sunday. All he has to do now is put it in the stock. Will be able to start the new year out with my 10X III standard rifle.

when I first saw the title
I thought the rams where set hard in SD but a .50cal BMG that should do it =))

obviously I am way out of the loop on this, what is a bloop tube and what is it for? better groups?

I am having a dedicated standard rifle built. The barrel will only be 18" long with a 10" hollow bloop tube added. This allows you to add weight to the tube and barrel at different spots to play with the balance of the rifle and still be under the weight limit. When the gun is done I will post pictures. As they say a picture will be worth a 1000 words.
