Thank you for a very nice match. Food (THE most important thing) was most excellent. You have a beautiful range. Just a perfect place to shoot. The diabolical winds definitely make your spotter THE best asset a shooter has. You ran an efficient match. We liked the idea of putting the scorecards on a clipboards and handing those out. Do I have to send ours back?
The tank rack was really cool too. We really, really, really appreciate you going to the effort to put this on. Kudos on getting the stats posted so quickly at the range, and online. I was wondering if you could kinda fade my name out a bit? On the other hand, you really solved the problem I have of trying to remember what one of the kids shot, on the drive home. They always seem to remember their scores abnormally high and mine as being lower than theirs. We have proof now.
We really think this is a perfect location as there are scads of restaurants and hotels nearby AND it's really easy to get to. Also, thank you for enhancing the vocabulary of my children. Your vocabulary lesson was the subject of our dinner conversation.
It really was. Expect more teasing in that area. They were translating it into German so they could help you a bit.
Finally, really nice job shooting. I know you were running on empty today. To shoot the scores you did, under those conditions, shows the considerable talent you have. Really nice job all the way around and we would like to thank your family, your club and our friends for a great weekend.

That language lesson was just a review from what I was told! That just slipped right out and was a bit embarrassing; I believe the pressure and wind were getting to me by that time in the match.
Thank you for the kind words and thank you and your family for making the trip and putting on a bit of a lesson of your own, in shooting. One lesson that I see all the kids learned from Dear Old Dad is proper sandbagging. From a "AAA" shooter who completely rewrote the Open class record book in one day to an A class shooter who takes down 14 rams with a Target gun and in a hurricane and another A class shooter who has shot above his class at every match I've seen him at, I'd say the entire crew has learned everything from the master sandbagger himself.
We will see you guys soon even though it makes me more than a little uncomfortable that you all can talk about me in 3+ languages. The match wouldn't have been complete without you!

Sandbagging? Really? This coming from the Club President whose club includes a member who shot a Match 2 Target Rifle winning score of 47 from AA class? A 15 year old girl who shot a TX 200 in Open and shot a 47 AND a 53? Then comes back yesterday and shoots a 42 in the second match of Target rifle? I think you're looking pretty suspect there chief. ( I know Hayley is really 17) It was nice to see people really turn their performances up a notch. It is a joy to watch them shine. Thank you for providing the stage. It was a lot of work for y'all. Watching Nicholas get 14 rams when Motl and I struggled to get 8 was awesome. And no, you can't have Elisabeth's open rifle.

Wait a second.. We were supposed to turn our performances up a notch for this match? Thanks for telling me now!!
Glad you and the Van of Death made it home safely. Was great to have you and the kids come over for the match. I am pretty exhausted today and glad there isn't a slingshot match scheduled for today I don't think I could even reach the Chicken line with one at this point.
Thanks again for coming to what was the first of what we hope will be bigger and better matches in the coming years. I think we are off to a great start and with a whole year ahead this time around I am sure next year will be even more fun. Who knows I might even remember that whole turning up my performance thing you mentioned.
Thanks to all that attended and we hope you all made it home in one piece without to much chemical warfare going on from my Red Beans
