What is "THE" setup for a Standard Rifle

You get to shoot the match twice with the same gun, Match jitters etc get worked out and most will shoot the 2nd better, or if screwing up the first match you have a 2nd chance at it. If switching light to heavy you have to adjust to the weight and different trigger and it takes a while. It's a quirk of the rule and NRA Silhouette committies poor decision years ago to do away with what was a nearly factory stock hunter rifle class. We had class seperation now we don't have enough to make a difference

No doubt about it more gun weight and lighter trigger will allow the shooter to hit more targets, just not enough to overcome the strategic advantage

Well I am sure Hammie might be interested in selling it now. He can put the money towards his and Baby Huey's honeymoon as it appears they have run off and eloped together.
