EVERYONE,

Come to our state championship!!!! I promise you'll love it - We have a GREAT range, resettable targets, nice hotels within a mile of the range, a Cabela's retail store and an outlet mall within a mile of the range, 20 min from Baton Rouge, 40 min from New Orleans, outstanding competition and the best food you will eat at a silhouette match. Eric and the rest of our crew put on a great match. It'll be a lot of fun. June 29 & 30, 2013.

If you're flying into Baton Rouge or New Orleans and need someone to pick you up from the airport, send me a PM!!!

Hope to see EVERYONE there!

Eric/Dustin,

I have made my hotel reservation and will get my entry sent in over the weekend. One question will we be able to put up awnings or is there enough cover without them?

Paul,

There is plenty of cover but you're welcome to bring whatever you want. Most folks just bring a chair to put under the extra-wide firing-line cover.

food is exquisite, Jerry Tureau made jambolia. Surprisingly the temp is good. had a cool front come thru.
Bill Motl kicked butt today with a 37/38 to take standard rifle.....with his hunter gun.
tomorrow we're eating crawfish etouffee. I'm thinking about just spotting and eating. but then who would be last.......

Thanks to everyone who traveled to Baton Rouge for the Louisiana Smallbore Silhouette State Chmpionship this weekend and thanks especially to Eric Harper who put on a great match. Congrats to Bill Motl and Elisabeth Steiger on great championship performances. Looking forward to seeing everyone for next year's match!

I would like to add my congrats to both Elizabeth Stieger and Bill Motl and to thank Eric for hosting the match. This was my first competitive match outside of the club meets each month and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do think that it wasn't fair to make me shoot against Elizabeth though. Think of my psyche, forever scarred. I do have to say, meeting all of the competitors from Texas and other parts of Louisiana was a big thrill. One that I may just have to indulge in and maybe make some shoots elsewhere. Thank you all for a wonderful weekend. Oh, winning the morning match on Sunday in my first competition didn't hurt either.

Every time I post a picture of a scoreboard on here, it ends up upside down or sideways even though it looks right on the preview. I don't know how to fix that. Sorry for the difficult to read scoreboards.

It looks fine to me, Dustin. Congrats to the winners, and to everyone who got to attend the match for that matter. :)
