Home, home on the range (literally)...

Post by OnaginOffagin »

Wish i lived on a 110 yard lot..... I'd get a backhoe, dig a 110 yard trench, line it with 3' concrete pipe, dig a basement/firing point at one end, line the firing point with concrete block, build a pallet to shoot from, put a sump pump under it, install ventilation, rig lighting down the tunnel, set up intermediate target stops at 40, 60, and 77 meters.... I'd have a return target system for paper, and permanent swingers at the proper ranges.... I'd then roof the firing point and bury the pipe....voila, my own private underground silhouette shooting range....... I guess I could do it anyway if I didn't mind tunneling under my neighbors back yard! What the heck, he'd never know! Damned if I can see the downside......
