Great article, Steve. I do have to say that I was shocked that you did that throat work by hand, even if the reasoning was sound. It goes completely against my "ultimate precision at any cost" image of your work. 8)

I know, it was a new adventure for me as well.

Eh, if I had messed it up, I would have just ended up in the lathe anyhow to fix. I have plans to finish a new Bartline GT barrel for my 2013, so that will put me on the lathe for a night later next week.

I'll get some photos for you of that operation so you can sleep better. :lol:

Did you like the 2013 in .17 HMR?
