That straight 28 incher might be ok for a B shoveller, but when you get up to master shovelling you'll definately be needing the ergo bent handle, nothing less than 32" will do!
Mine is a custom fitted 4th generation Schmalls. Anything less would be uncivilized....

Got the ergo handle, but needs some bench work to get it sighted in better. And, yes, I am a "B" shoveler...not sure I want to move up in this competition.

The perswon that said if you do it right the first time, you won't have to do it twice has never shoveled snow. I'm glad I'm in southern AZ. :-bd
