hi folks,
just wanted to let you know, i had a glass of cool aid and purchased a remington 700, in 7mm-08. now off to the high power range. also picked up some hornady 308 match to neck down. most likely shoot some hornady sst's of 139 and 154.

If you're gonna drink koolaid, 7-08 is a pretty good flavor. Goes down smooth and refreshing.

Seriously, good purchase dan222, congrats. Was it an SPS blue or stainless? Got any upgrade plans ? What optics will you be using? I am sure you already know what components will bring out the best in a 7-08. Good luck with it and keep us posted on your progress.

yes mary i did get your last pm, thank you. bob m, yes it is a sps, hard to find a 24" barrel. have a older 12x target leupold on it now, and necked up( can i say it) my old 260 brass

using some varget and hornady 139's,
not trying for full force ram busters. thanks for the support.....dan

Just drank some more cool aid, and I purchased a Remington 700 SPS SS in 7mm-08 for my nephew to go along with his new CZ 455 American. He is right! You can't have too many guns.
