Is the Kimber HS still legal in hunter class? It was designed for offhand shooting and is a viable alternative to the 1712.

If it makes weight, has a tapered barrel, has a sporter-style stock and has a 2lb trigger, then it's legal.

The ones I saw at the NC state match were hunting rifle legal. I think at least one shooter had to be selective in his choice of scope and mounts, but he made weight.
