Sako Finnfire
Is any one out there shooting the new Sako Finnfire? Just was looking at them and the price isn't bad just wondering what every ones thoughts are on them.

Re: Sako Finnfire
I have only held them in the LGS but they seem to a much nicer rifle than a box stock 10/22 or Marlin Model 60.

Re: Sako Finnfire
I was thinking of getting one of those as my silhouette gun for quite a while but after talking with Beretta, being dissapointed by their lack of knowledge, then getting the correct information from Sako Finland directly. I decided against it. I'm sure it is a great shooter but I opted for the Sako Quad and couldn't be happier. The Finnfire II does not have a barrel that is removable and I knew I wanted to get the extra weight that the Lilja Sundberg Taper barrel offers. The Quad barrel change system works great and locks the barrel in nice and tight. The Quad is a little bit more but for what I wanted to do with it, it was worth it. It has a great trigger and the pull weight has been very consistent. I've been shooting 55/60 with my Quad and the 5 that I miss are definitely not the gun's fault.
There is a pretty good post on Rimfire Central regarding the Finnfire II. It shows some targets shot at 50yds. and pictures of the action out of the stock.
