Lot of nice ranges, I enjoy shooting from the cover of my carport. Cape Town so far is the winner in the beauty contest (my opinion of course). That is one nice view, almost a shame to shoot at it.

Pay attention yourself!!! When the polar ice caps didn't melt they changed global warming to "climate change" just to cover all the bases. It's really another scheme to tax the living crap out us if your wondering what the real story is, btw the climate on this planet has always changed regardless of human activity.High Speed wrote:It's that global warming, don't you know! Have you not been paying attention to what they have been telling you? We have had beautiful weather here in Arkansas for the last few weeks, rain and low temps. Figment of our imagination I'm sure. But I'm enjoying it none the less.
Stay Safe,
Mark

Re: Pictures of home shooting ranges?
Thought I would update this thread with a photo the wife snapped of the little practice range we have been trying to build on our hunting property. Its on the backside of an old home place, and we shoot out of a side shed that was once attached to a 150 year old log barn. The roof of the barn was fallen in when we bought it, and when I tried to dismantle it "easy" for rebuilding purposes the rest fell apart! Anyway, the side shed is all that is left, but it provides a dry place for three shooters to fire from. We have since found some plate steel to set the last two stations on instead of the cross ties. Wish we lived on the property so that we could shoot all the time!
Thanks to all those that contributed and shared their ideas, special thanks to the fellow that shared the idea of using cement blocks with iron plates as movable stations. It sure helps when mowing!
BTW: I have had both deer and turkey wander into the range while I was firing, and they never did get frightened or wary. Amazing!
