I think I'll deal with our little prairie rattlers that have the decency to rattle before biting you.
From the wiki description here's the part I dislike "Its combination of speed, unpredictable aggression, and potent venom make it an extremely dangerous species", and " a bite from a black mamba is rapidly fatal almost 100% of the time". Not 95% not 98%,100%!!!! that's not bad odds, that NO odds. This snake pretty much has all the bases covered, semi-auto 12 gauge is my choice.

You guys have identified correctly - My Father is a Citrus farmer close to a town Called Hoedspruit up country and these are very common in that area .

2 Weeks back some of the workers armed with a back actor and a rake took these out of sirculation while they were hiding in a anthill. Should give a good feel for size.

not uncommon for them to reach 3m (9ft).

Had our first League shoot for this year this past Saturday and discovered I was a tad rusty but got into it quickly

8-10am Wind was calm but suddenly turned 24knots head on making it really testing. Shot 31/40 Turkeys and Chickens laughing at me

Tested some ammo as well and seems my rifle likes Fiocchi TT sport , Eley Sport and Winchester T22.

S&B , S&K not so much , Thus Sport /TT - OK and anything with a S well SH*&^%.
