A day at the range
We shoot a modified silhouette match every Friday morning, we get about 35 people or so out to shoot. We don't go by the NRA rules regarding equipment, just shoot what you bring, shooting on the 1/2 scale lever action silhouette targets and distances. Here's a few shots from last week showing the range and some of the varied types of equipment that show up . Note how we shoveled off all the snow before we got started.

Glad to see the range open again, Jerry. The new power lines look real nice, too bad it was shut down during my visit.
We left Yuma that same night after BS'ing with you and Tom. When did the range finally open back up? I have a good mind to pack up and head back there to get out of this snow and cold.

Enjoyed the visit, Bob, glad you showed up. Range opened a couple or three days after you left IIRC. Hasn't started snowing yet, come on down.

Not Fair!
I decided I had to get my Marlin 39 sighted in. Had to post hole to 50 yards no way I was going the 100 yard line.
Question
What are the Hi-Wall rifles and caliber?
thanks

Glad to see all the High Wall and Low Wall rifles on the line. They certainly are more period than a semi auto with a tube feed and for the life of me still can't understand why they are not allowed in Lever Gun.
Must have took some time to get all that snow cleared away

Clearly this is a retiree match only. Do you all meet at Denny's at 5am for coffee and toast? Friday morning... must present AARP card or unemployment check stub to enter.

Average age is over 70, some are 80+. We have two token working guys in their 60"s. Lunch and brewskis at a local honkytonk after the shoot.
