HI ,
With all due respect AND humility ... I think your barking up the wrong tree
Try an Anschutz 54 standard rifle instead

Well, I've already got the 1710 and 1712.... don't have the green ones for a standard rifle..... I'm a retired public servant, emphasis on the "servant."

I do have an older Model 54 with a giant club of a Hart barrel that's too heavy for the job. Does anyone know of a 'smith that might have a used standard barrel in a bin that I might score?

I have a stock that will fit a 17XX. Not sure of the model number, but it is the "Classic" style - no monte carlo cheekpiece and wing safety on the bolt pattern. I had my LH son use it with my 1710D KL when he wanted to try silo. Have bottom metal to fit it too.
