Hutch,
I have contacted Barbara Senbertrand and she is supposed to get a program to me so we can get it posted to steelchicknens. It will be Nov 3rd and 4th at Brunswick, better known as Coastal Georgia Gun Club.
Great food, good match, and a lot of fun and usually inexpensive lodging close by as it is only 6 or 7 miles from I95.
Plan on being there.
Gator, I'm on the road in the am for Benton, back for two days to do laundry then to Aurora for Colorado states and work. Will have to miss Spacecoast Friends of NRA but sending my offspring as my delegation to that event, hope to make it to St Augstine Friends of NRA in mid October.
Good luck in PA.

Chicken before you say too much I challenge you to spend a day in the field with me when the weather is changing or worse yet the equipment is deciding to have lots of little ghosts. Colorado should be fun, sun rise to sunset, no breaks, but then they pay me to watch the sun come up and watch it go down......Hot tub will used in the evening with a trip planned for Applejacks and those that live there no what that is.......Chicken thinks to himself ...."Why do these people not have jobs????"

Bob,
Yes I am referring to that Applejacks and their fine selection of vodka, where the vodka manager is Russian, quite a chap. I appreciate the offer for a ride, will be staying up there with rented vehicle, exchange it out Sunday to keep the state/personal paperwork seperate have to head for Golden Sunday night to be ready to work Monday (yes Chicken I do work), know the Italian is coming in Friday, maybe the Belgian. Haven't heard when the Swiss are arriving, the Canadian will drive down, haven't heard on the Aussies and South Africans, should be a crazy group of liberals that I'll deal with for a while.
See you there.
Mary

Mary.......2 days!!??...That is certainly no record. Most find it within 1 hour of arriving in Colorado. I think I read in a Co. tourism broshure once that Applejacks is on the top ten most recommended places to visit, more than once, while visiting our fine state. It's right up there with going to the top of Pike's Peak.--------- Oh yeah...Sorry Hutch...we all got sidetracked about your original question on a 1712 price. Can anyone help Hutch out?

Bob,
Yeah two days, I arrived on a Sunday and the kids working a Taco Hell couldn't agree on how to tell me how to get there. Monday was a hard work day but by the second day the secretary working at the facility there decided I needed to find my own source of self defense around the Europeans so she led the way.......
Then the Itilian wanted to go get wine for a dinner party...claims I'm a lousy driver (he didn't have any transportation). I keep telling him I'm great it's all the others on the road. But he has told me already that I have to take him back this year. Must not be that bad.
Hey Hutch in case you haven't figured out by now the threads rarely stay on the original question. Annie 1712 eh? What will your wife want when she has held one of them?

Bob, Mary, What about the Buffalo Ranch? Hutch if I'm not mistaken one shooter picked up a 1712 at the Nationals with a McMillan synthetic wood stock for 1250.00. Could be wrong on the price, but I think I'm close. Right now most shooters are taking there 1712's, putting them in a Pharr stock and shooting them in both classes. You might be able to find a used 54, quicker that a 1712. Just a guess.

HUTCH, check out rimfirecentral.com in the classifed section I think there is still a 1712 with two stage trigger in a Mcmillan stock that's had less then 500 rounds through her for $1400. Or champions chioce has got the barreled actions waiting in customs right now for $1050. i just picked one up today.
