I"M SURE OUR STEELCHICKENS.COM FANS AROUND THE WORLD WOULD LOVE TO SEE SOME PICTURES OF THE NATIONALS THIS YEAR. ONE OR TWO SHOTS AND A STORY IN SHOOTING SPORTS USA SIX MONTHS AFTER THE MATCH JUST WONT CUT IT. I WILL GLADLY COVER THE HIGHPOWER EVENT IF SOMEONE WILL STEP UP AND COVER SMALLBORE. YOU KNOW WHAT WE LIKE TO SEE, PEOPLE, GUNS......YEA.....LOTS OF GUNS!....SITUATIONS, SHOTS OF RELAYS IN PROGRESS, AWARDS,ETC... ANYONE CARE TO VOLUNTEER AND DO THIS?

I can bring the camera but my photographer got another job for the summer howin barley. I'll do my best but I may need some help cause I gotta spot for Chuck or Jerry and shoot too.

So you want guns and relays and folks winin prizes, right? I may have to do a deal with however is schedulin relays cause I never do see Kitty and Innocent cuttin up like their always talking. I had to herd them shooters into the road house in Missoula just to see a smile on thier faces. Bunch a serious shooters out West. Must a had their poker faces on.

Surely them Southern folks will be more colorful. I hear tell their into what they call 'Bling". Guess I should add "Bling" to the list. I remember someone saying something about thongs and cheerleading outfits. Guess I should oughta get pictures of those too.

Anything else you can think of, Bob, that I need on the list? Oh, that's right, pictures of folks having a good time in the evenings. Yeah, I can do that. Should work out great. I can post the pictures on the web, unless that is folks would rather pay me a little gas money not to be seen at home. Should work out fine I think.

You got to follow Innocent and I around to catch us acting up.....unless the spirits have been freely flowing......Try getting Innocent to come to your room and take her shoes off.......You won't be disappointed.....and I can be entertaining in certain social situations........

A word from a veteran photographer to those who are going to shoot and post. Never a good idea to pop the flash when the shooter is on the line......unless it's practice.....Most published shots of shooters shooting are shot in practice or are staged.....And be nice to Greg Connors, because everyone who shoots the nats signs a photo release intended to let event photographers shoot at will.....and if you are not one of them he can restrict your access if you become annoying

DWL,........SOUNDS LIKE YOUR THE MAN FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHY JOB. WE"RE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOUR HANDIWORK IN THE NEAR FUTURE...........KITTY IS RIGHT ABOUT USING THE FLASH. MY AZ PHOTOS CAME OUT GOOD WITHOUT USING IT, SHOOTERS DID NOT EVEN KNOW I WAS THERE. AS FOR MR.CONNER, JUST WISH I COULD HAVE GOTTEN A SHOT OF HIM AND THE CHIMP IN A REUNION HUG. MAYBE NEXT YEAR.

Dave, I have my new digital camera with me, haven't had time to play with it yet. I'm an old photofinisher from years gone by and so this new stuff is hard to swallow with all the techno stuff ya know. For example on I work for the state and now and the data loggers we use in the field are over 20 years old ( at least they aren't the old stable Stevens paper hole punch log tapes) so dealing with shooting pics may be interesting. But I'll try to behave and take some pics also on the smallbore side.

Never know when you might need to impress the youngsters in the room. Don't forget you can't let the teenagers outwit you so if you can do more with your feet/toes then they still will listen occasionally...........
