Opinions on the "Plain Globe Sight" from MVA?
Hi all,
I have a Marlin 1895 Cowboy Limited in 45-70 with a 26" barrel. I removed the barrel sight and added a Lyman receiver sight, but I am still using the OEM blade front sight with a brass bead. I have never enjoyed a beaded front sight so most of my LA rifles have Lyman 17A globes. I started looking around and saw the #111 Plain Globe Sight on the MVA website and I am curious if anyone is using this in the silhouette matches?

Haven’t used it on a levergun, but have used it on a 22 BPCR rifle
MVA makes good sights

I couldn't see anything on their web-site that specified the dimensions.
Provided that its outside diameter does not exceed 3/4" (per NRA Rule 3.1.3(a)), you'd be good to go.
