cast bullets from NBC
All,
Just wanted to give everyone heads up on an issue I am having with http://nationalbullet.com. I order 500 45-70 bullets from the company Dec 15. I used paypal to pay for the bullets. So far no bullets. I have called the company several times and have been told they would be casting within a week. About two weeks ago, I tried to cancel the order, they told me they would refund the money. So far no bullets and no credit. And now they do not answer the phone or return calls.
Yesterday, I received the following email:
Notice:
Do the the recent short supply of Lead, Brass and Jacketed bullets we have fallen far behind in filling orders. We ask that you please bear with us for a while longer. We hope to get all our back orders filled and have plenty of stock on the shelves in the not to distant future.
We have a target date of March 15th to have our copperized bullets back on the shelf. Our plater had to install some new waste treatment equipment, which took much longer than they thought.
Thanks again for being so understanding.

I have used NBC several times in the past and find their product great. But purchase as you see fit.

McAlice, I am only guessing, but I think you will only have one chance to sell your wifes stuff! Don't stop with the sewing machine. Put everything she has on your patio and go for those sales! You have to ask yourself two things. Are you going to catch anymore heck over her machine as compared to everything? Finally after the whuppin she gives ya, just think of those bullets that you can buy!

However, after she talks to the lawyer 1/2, or more, of the bullet purchase will be hers
Bob, your better off making a deal with her then ticking her off...

Hey Jim, Sara is not mad at you anymore. Says it is OK for you to stay at our house when you shoot Co. matches. I suggest you get her some kind of "I'm sorry" gift on your next visit. She loves Sierra Match Kings. The 7mm 130gr. is her favorite. (get her the #1903c 500ct. bulk pack) This will melt her heart, has got me out of the doghouse in the past. If you cant get the 130's, get the #1930c 168's instead. You might consider shipping them to her soon. With the price and availability of bullets these days, you sure dont want to show up empty handed......Bob.

Thanks for smoothing things over, Bob. I would miss seeing all of those Tree Rats happily scampering about the back yard. If you are looking to save a few bucks on ammo. I have started to use Lapua bullets, they are cheaper than Sierra, and they shoot just as good if not better. I get them at www.powdervalleyinc.com. McAlice, I think we hijacked Greg G's post, what do you think?

bullets
I am not sure it is a problem with supply or not. I just am very disappointed in NBC not delivering or returning my money on something they took money for. They also do not answer the phone now.
I was able to have bullets in hand from laser cast in less than a week.
