Sir,

I am writing to request of you kind sir an update with the progress of your shooting as of late with said new equipment. I hope that my correspondence finds all well in your stables and may the sprits of you and yours be high! I am still presently highly intrigued as to the results of your experimentation and as to the sum of the booty witch has been collected at the wrath of your fine trigger smithing!

Sir Chicken??? And to think that I thought a chicken was a female and a rooster was a male. Last time I checked knighted females were dubbed Dame! But what would I know about chickens, only raised them sinceI was.. oh well we wont go there. All have been named after royalty though, including hens named Egbert and Ethel Red the Unready.
I do think that Chicken should do a little more research on royalty before claiming such a position.

last match shot, almost 2 months ago, with the Marlin M60 was 45/60. 11 chickens, 9 pigs, 12 turkeys, 13 rams. as soon as i learn how to shoot chickens and pigs with it i might find a decent score. i was pleasantly surprised as i was using the suggested walmart Federal Auto-Match bulk pack ammunition to get the action to cycle reliably. i'm positive that with even a 4lb trigger pull the master scores would come fast and furious but i'm afraid to screw up the trigger so will suffer with 7lbs. used a weaver v series scope set on 12x.

Only due to your excellent spottin' at the air rifle in Winny did I set the new womens record. Where are the foot coverings? maybe I just like the muck, sand or gravel feel in the toes, depending on where I am, or is that which wigwam I'm in?? Actually had my feet covered in the wigwam, it was too cold.

That was not Spotting, spotting is what Jerry "Ces Bon" does. But good shooting with or with out my help. It's strange the more you learn the more you find out you don't know. I had 3 days of spotting instruction at the Nationals, now I think I can't spot at all... LOL

Ahh King George, a fine black hen, defended her biddys well against the racoons, until the army of children armed with various weapons could get to her and drive off the beast. Now that I am reminded of her she was kind of crazy, must have been the gender mix up on the names, probably part of 'Dame (or is that Sir?)Chicken's problem with not being able to hit large rubber chickens at Winny. Of course I am innocent of any part of having the rubber chickens placed on the stand. Speaking of them, I heard rumors that they would be auctioned on the marketplace, haven't seen them go by have you?

Chicken don't tell me you roasted them!!

Chickens can be male or female, in silhouette we do not shoot at hens we shoot at roosters or in Spanish Gallos.

As much as I hate to do this, I feel it's only fair to come to Chicken's aid in this case. Some people have actually accused me of intentionally trying to stir things up and try to get under Chicken's skin. Now I ask you, at least those of you who know me....Would I do that?

With all due respect to the previous posters and their various opinions as to what chicken is:

chicken
a. The common domestic fowl (Gallus domesticus) or its young b. Any of various similar or related birds.

rooster
a. An adult male chicken. B. An adult male of other birds.

hen
a. A female bird, especially the adult female of the domestic fowl.

Clearly chicken is an androgynous term......Oh hell, I think I've done it again!

That's mighty fine shooting sir. I just have to keep doing the math conversion for those of us that RARELY shoot the 60 round matches (45/60 = 30/40 or 2 under "M" Class), damn fine shooting if I may say!

Ok picture this... Locals shooting their weekly / monthly match. Here comes Dave with a Model 60... LOL... I love it.

Trust me, I have a model 60 as well. Finest $90 I have ever had, Many a tree rat and ground cat have been laid to rest with it...
