Rebarreled Winchester 1894
I hope someone here can anwser my question.I have come across a pre '64 Winchester 1894 that has a 38/55 numrich barrel on it that was installed in the 60's.Is this rifle legal for CLA?I was thinking no,but I thought someone here would know for sure.

If you follow the letter of the rules it is not legal, but most match directors would not disqualify you for a barel that is identical to the original. I think the intent is to disalow putting match-grade specialty barrels on a lever gun to make them look like nothing that John Browining ever imagined.
