Wild West trigger?

Centerfires, rimfires, pistol cartridges and everything in between.

Wild West trigger?

Post by jnyork »

Anyone ever put a Wild West trigger in a Marlin 336A? I have an early (1949) 336A, the trigger engages the sear notch in the hammer directly, but the ad for the WW trigger features a trigger and a sear. What gives? Thanks

My gunsmith tried to install one in a 1951 vintage 336A a few years back, and it would not work. I can't remember just exactly what the problem was but he had to take it out.
I had them installed in several 94 Marlins and they are a fine trigger. Al

Thanks, Al, I emailed Wild West and they told me the same thing, no go on the older ones with the one-piece trigger.
