Newbie with a question?

Post by caithness77 »

Hello all,
Anyone know of shooters using the BSA Internationals for RMS? I have a special factory light version plus a few original heavy versions (way too heavy for RMS).

Thanks,

I run two matches at our club, morning regulation NRA rules Silhouette. Afternoon club rules 40 shots at CLA rimfire size Rams only, hung from Chains with Iron sights. Single shot or Lever action.

No one shoots BSA's morning match, afternoon lots of guys pull out the old Internationals and various other BSA based sporters. They are the rifles most often winning the Ram match. Scoped on the smaller Rimfire target they would be very competitive no doubt. Most weigh too much though. If you have one that can make weight and fit the stock rule it should be a very competitive rifle. All the BSA's shooting our club have Unertl style scope blocks, External adjustment scopes weigh a lot more than modern scopes. Might be you can make weight with a lighter scope.
