Anschutz 1712 stock question

Will a side safety/new model 1712 fit in a 1712 wing safety stock?

Hey Brent. Nice to see a fellow Seattle-ite on here. So the answer is no without a little modification. Are you looking to put a barreled action into a pre safety change stock or an aftermarket? I've got access to both stocks so if you want to see hands on let me know and we can meet up.

Well I bought a pharr stock that was inleted for a wing safety but I bought a side safety which hasn't arrived just yet. I started to have some concerns, of course all after the fact that I had a potential nightmare on my hands. But from what Ive heard I should be ok with just a little stock mod for the safety and nothing that major maybe I will have to re-bed but I hope not. I doubt the action will be here before Sunday but I will bring the stock so we could check it out though.

Everything should fit, but you will have to open up the stock for the safety lever on the right hand side. No re-bedding should be required.
