What rings for my 30mm scope
Please help educate me on the proper set of rings for my Annie 54 action. The scope is a Leupold 6.5x20 30mm tube. I am not a pencil neck but do have about a relaxed 3-4" from my shoulder up to my jawline. Should I start with a set of Med. and go from there?
Oh yea... I have been told that BKL is the way to go...?
Thanks....

I went with high Burris Signature rings on my 1712. My 6.5-20 EFR is only a 1" tube, but I'll bet you can find some in 30mm.

Re: What rings for my 30mm scope
I have Burris Zee signature on both my 54's. The ones that use the offset inserts that don't scratch the scope and can set the MOA from0 to +/-40.
Only problem is they don't clear the "hump" of the top of the reciever so they need to be relieved a bit (few thousands).
Fantastic rings but pricey, rings and insert kit will be $75 ish.

Yeah. I had to relieve mine a bit too. A couple of minutes with a Dremel did the trick.

You might want to look at BKL Technolgy for 3/8 and 11mm dovetail

It's hard to criticize BKL or Burris Signature Z rings. I will note that if weight is an issue, the BKL's are lighter, but the Burris plastic inserts sure are gentle with those nice Leupold scopes...

Re: What rings for my 30mm scope
I have a set of Weaver rings on top of a set of risers I borrowed from Forum member CWS right now. Going to my first match tomorrow with my action in a borrowed stock with a borrowed scope sitting on borrowed risers with ammo given to me by another shooter (CWS again...). By the end of next week maybe all of my stuff will be here and I can use my own stuff.....
If I had to buy all this stuff it might cost to shoot this sport.
I think I will be ordering this- BKL 261 1" Unitized Dovetail Scope Mount....

I thought you specified a 30mm scope mount? The 261 is for 1 inch tubes. You would need a 354 0r a 360 for 30mm applications.

I bought a 6.5 x 20 Leupold with a 30mm tube then found and bought a Weaver 24 x target with a 1" tube.
