Friday night casual CBC meet up

So for any folks that are interested. We have the back room at Kit Carson reserved for some grub and general bs the Friday night before the shooting starts.

The room is ours as of 6pm so if you're done sighting in and want to stop by please do. They have a pretty decent prime rib as well as other family dining type stuff as well as a bar. I have confirmation that the whole Coleman clan including the young marine will be on site to share stories of basic etc.

For those who haven't been there before Kit Carson is one exit south on I-5 from the Pe Ell exit in chehalis. Just on the eastern service drive to the freeway.

If you need further directions feel free to pm me or hit me up via cell at 206 335 6580. If I don't answer it's likely I'm at the range still as there isn't much reception out there but I'll call back as soon as I'm closer to chehalis.

I'll be rolling in to Pe ell sometime around 2 or 3 to sight in etc. I think an adult beverage and some grubb sounds fine to me! I'm in.

Mary if you want some hellacious oysters we'll be driving by Taylor Shelfish on our way south. They used to be one of my customers and I have eaten my body weight in bivalves from them and they are a really special treat. I know the have kumomoto's right now and if we're lucky they should have Olympia oysters as well (these are the only oysters native to WA, they''re about the size of a 50 cent piece and very sweet/briny with a super finish).

I had the chance to pass on the meet info to Cathy at Good Shooting over the phone yesterday. If she makes it I'm ignoring all of you other cretins and am going to sit as close as I can to see if some of that super shooting talent can rub off!

Riverview Diner in South Bend has the best grilled oysters ever. Even some of the land lubber Dakota boys ate some, they are coming back for more. Already called in my order today, to make sure he has enough for me and Jose and Friday....
