Re: wtb 1712 stock
When I got my last 1712 rifle from Steve Wooster he made me both right and left hand painted stocks as I wasn't sure which way I'd be shooting...right eye problems. Anyway I'm now a lefty and I have an excess right hand stock for the old style safety.

Lefty

I believe there is only a small amount of inletting required on the right side where the new safety is located to allow a new style drop in. It's probably a 10 minute dremel job in the kitchen. I have the square RTS-style bottom metal fabricated by Keith Cairns and action screws. Wisner magazines fit nicely through the mag well. Anschutz mags might be a problem. Length of pull, 13 3/4inches. With Leupold 6.5-20EFR, BKL rings and Lilja barrel it just made hunter weight. Asking $450.00 for the stock and bottom metal.
