Unfortunately this election has proven that there are far more people paralyzed from the neck up, than paralyzed from the neck down!

Humility and a sense of responsibility (fiscal and popular) are desperately needed in DC, but entirely unlikely.
Dr. Krauthhammer ignores that the 2009 election happened precisely because so many problems emerged during Bush administration. This is nothing new because every new boss inherits the accumulated debris of their predecessors and then contributes their own. Finger pointing is a graceless distraction - what matters is improving things. Own the problem you're presented with, solve it and move on to the next without wasting time with blame.
As the Democrats alienate the political middle that elected them, the GOP has an opportunity if they are constructive and imaginative. So far, they're just obstructionist and, apparently, still sulking. A simple return to old ideas simply won't work.
